Came out at 9:10 to drive to campus and saw this dingleberry in the reserved spot in front of my garage. Had to have my gf call a tow truck while I took an uber to campus smh

TheOn... OP It unfortunate didn't get towed. Gf called the tow company for our complex, earlies they could be there was 10:45 and the car moved sometime after 10:20, when my gf last went to see if they still were there.

Half a mind to key their box if they do it again but idk, management said the plates didn't belong to any resident in the complex so hopefully they don't pull it again

TheOne_Whomst_Kno... OP Ah yes, the patented "make this car even harder to move out of the way" trick

steelcryo Next time get gf to drive over and block them in. When they come back to their car and complain they're blocked in, you then get the fun of them trying to justify why blocking you in is fine, but you blocking them in is not okay.

TheOne_Whomst_Kno... OP We share the car sadly, both of us work from home and never used the other car. Would be funny tho!

herkalurk LMAO, tow company wouldn't come tow a car IMMEDIATELY? That's literally how they make money....

TheOne Whomst_Kno... OP I know and I agree, but tbf they told her they legit had multiple stops to make first as they had a crazy # of calls today, it's not a huge tow company so I'm inclined to believe them. Like you said, that's how they make their money so I'd be surprised if they were just being lazy idk

SharkEatingSquirrel Can you not call the cops to have a car towed as well? I have a friend who got towed by the police for "blocking" a driveway. (My friend said that it was maybe 6 inches to a foot of overlap on one side of this persons driveway and they could still get out.

Whether or not that is true, that's not the point of this comment.) My friend had to knock on the guys house and ask if he knew where the car went, and he was like I had it towed. It was within 45 minutes to an hour. If my recollection of her story retelling is correct.

TheOne_Whomst_Kno... OP Thought about this but it was 9am I didn't wanna do that to my neighbors, most of them are cool

Im_Ashe_Man Did you at least leave an angry note on their windshield or something?

TheOne_Whomst_Kno... OP It would've been up to my gf to do that (I left in an uber pretty quick) and she's wayyy too sweet/nice for me to ask her to do that lol

jmartin2683 Looks like someone else's garage that you are renting. This has downsides.

TheOne Whomst Kno... OP I know? It's an apartment garage and I'm literally a college student in Florida do you think I'm going to buy property in this hole? I'm leaving as soon as I graduate

Ch1ckenOfTheSea Probably a very dumb question. Is it possible to back up to a parked car, gently touch bumpers, and slowly roll the other car out? I know it will probably { up the parking car mechanically a little bit. But I've just always been curious if it's possible.

TheOne_Whomst_Kno... OP I could, but I'd be blocking the whole road for my neighbors, and that ain't cool

Kerberos1566 If you want to be petty and got his license plate, you could probably take him to small claims court for the Uber cost.

TheOne Whomst_Kno... OP I'm petty, but also lazy. Not going to court for that
